Dear Members

There are two ways in which you can help the West Toowong Community Association improve the built, social and natural environment of West Toowong; participation and money.

Your continued support of the association is appreciated, your support last year enabled us to achieve the following:

* Build the association.

* Inclusion of many of our comments and ideas in the LAPlan, including the Character Residential backzoning.

* Creek vegitation rehabilitation along Toowong Creek at the un-named park.

* Slowing & prevention of a number of unsuitable developments in the area.

* A number of submissions relating to public transport & traffic management.

* The establishment of a local history group.

1. Subscriptions for 2002 are due in April. $10 for 1 year membership per person. ($1 per annum for pensioners). Subscriptions by cheque may be dropped off in my letter box, 5 Warrawee Street (please leave a note to tell me who it is from) or by cash or cheque at the next meeting.
